SPECIFICATIONS
System Features
The standard Nicomp DLS system is configured with a 12 mW red laser diode and a PMT detector at 90 degrees. A wide range of options and accessories makes it easy to configure the system to match your samples and application.
High-power laser diodes: Red laser diodes 15, 35, 50, 100 mW
Green laser diodes 50, 100 mW
Avalanche photo diode (APD) detectors: Two detectors are available, a PMT for zeta potential and an APD for particle size
Low volume cells: Includes a box of 300 μL round cells that are easily centrifuged, other lower volume cells available
Autodilution: Eliminates the need for manual dilution of concentrated samples
Multi-angle goniometer: Ideal for advanced users, complex distributions, and enhanced sensitivity to larger particles
Phase analysis light scattering (PALS): Measures small phase shifts, enhancing sensitivity, and improved zeta potential results in high ionic strength or organic solvent environments
High voltage zeta potential cell: Measures organic solvents at high electric field strengths up to 250 V/cm
HIGH RESOLUTION DLS SYSTEM
Nicomp Nano N3000 System
Uses Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) technology to size proteins, colloids, emulsions, nanoparticles, CMPs, inkjet inks, and a variety of other dispersions used in nanotechnology and medicine
Features the Nicomp algorithm for sizing, which has a superior ability to detect and separate multimodal distributions and primary peaks from aggregate peaks
Optional Electrophoretic Light Scattering (ELS) to measure zeta potential
ZETA POTENTIAL ANALYZER
Nicomp Nano Z3000 System
Combines Dynamic Light Scattering (DLS) sizing capability with both frequency and Phase Analysis Light Scattering (PALS) modes for measuring zeta potential
With an elect electric field that can be varied from 1 to 250 Volts/cm, one instrument can be used to analyze zeta potential in aqueous and organic solvents
Cost of ownership is minimized with easy-to-use dip cell and inexpensive ZRS zeta potential standard
